Default Printing problems with HP D2460


I'm using a Toshiba and Vista Home Basic. The most recent Visat updates are
all installed but my printer doesn't print at different occasions. The print
queue is empty and there are no documents stuck in memory. The only way to
start the printer again is to switch it and the PC off. Has anyone any idea
how I can stop this happening?
