Did you try to comment out the Spry includes and data set creation code like I
mentioned above? Like I said, if I disable JS, I still see a lag. The first
half of the page renders ... up to "The following job postings are currently
avail" and then the last half of the page renders after about 4 seconds. Your
page, complete with data, and images, loads instantaneously for me when I try
it off one of my servers.

Thank you again for the reply Kin. I disabled everything on the page, no
includes, no scripts and there is still the lag. So I also notice this sort of
process lag on my other pages where the rendering bar in the browser seems to
continue long after the page loads. Such as on this php page -->
http://www.city.pg.bc.ca/rec_culture/sports/

Most of my pages are .php and on the last server, this was no problem, spry
loaded on time in a php file. I wonder if somehow the php is favored now on the
new w2k3 and IIS6.0 leaving spry until last, then processing it.

The page in HTML works instantly as you suggested Kin as seen here -->
http://www.city.pg.bc.ca/pages/jobs/pure.html

Thanks V1 Fusion for noticing the syntax errors. I fixed those up on the php,
but still no change. You can see the corrected php version here -->
http://www.city.pg.bc.ca/pages/jobs/index2.php

If I were debugging this, I would place echo statements in strategic places
within the PHP file to find out what area of the PHP file is causing the lag.

Perhaps it is a db/cms query that is now taking longer.
